Glutinous Rice ข้าวเหนียว
Ingredients
Lion Brand Glutinous Rice
Water
Steamer
1. Soak rice in cold water for an hour to overnight
2. Drain and place rice in steamer and put stove on medium heat
3. After 10 minutes, flip the rice upside down
4. Leave for another 10 minutes until rice is translucent, soft and chewy
Microwave
1. Rinse rice twice in cold water and drain
2. Soak rice in boiled water for 30 minutes then drain
3. Just cover rice with boiled water
4. Microwave for 2 minutes then stir
Repeat step 4 two more times
Rice Cooker
1. Put the rice in a rice cooker
2. Rinse and drain rice (about 2 times) until water runs clear
3. Pour off as much water as you can
4. Add water to rice (a ratio of 1 cup of rice to 1 1/4 cup water)
5. Turn on rice cooker and wait for rice to be cooked
