Rice Paper Dumplings (Feat. Lion Brand Rice Paper) | Easy Rice Paper Dumpling Hack

If you’ve spent even five minutes scrolling through TikTok lately, you’ve probably noticed that rice paper dumplings are having a bit of a viral moment. While traditional dumpling wrappers will always have their place, rice paper offers a clever shortcut that makes homemade dumplings easier than ever. They might not have the same chew as classic wrappers, but they’re a quick, gluten-free alternative that steams easily and offers great flavour with a unique texture. Perfect for weeknight cravings or when you’re just not in the mood to roll out dough!

 Ingredients (Serving 2-3 People):

  • Maesri Crispy Chlli,
  • Pork mince 150g
  • Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • A pinch of salt
  • Garlic 1 clove (mince)
  • Ginger 10g
  • Sesame 1 tsp
  • A pinch of pepper
  • Spring onion 1
  • Add bicarb soda, keep fridge 30 min to marinate well.

Cooking Guide:

  1. Combine Pork mince (150g), Soy Sauce (1 tbsp), Sugar (1/4 tsp), A pinch of salt, Garlic (1 mince clove), Ginger (10g), Sesame (1 tsp), A pinch of pepper, Spring onion 1, bicarb soda.
  2. Let rest in fridge 30min
  3. Cut Rice Paper Sheets into quarters
  4. Dip rice paper quarters into water and arrange quartered sheets into the pattern on the video
  5. Place a tablespoon of mince mixture per dumpling
  6. Fold up rice paper sheets to form the dumpling
  7. Steam for 10-15 min
